Three things, and they do not have conditions on them.
It is encrypted. What you write — the line you give at the hour, your messages to your brothers, what is recorded about your evening — is sealed before it is stored, with the key held outside the database. A copy of the database on its own is unreadable.
It is never sold. No third party ever receives a row. No advertiser, no analytics company, no data broker, nobody.
It is used only for the betterment of the members. It exists so the order can serve the men in it. Nothing else reads it, ever.
The order records what happens and what you looked at:
The record of what you looked at holds the shape of it, never the words. Where a message would go, the record keeps its length and nothing else.
Katib uses the answers you save, your earlier tasks and your reports to choose a useful task. Your table does not receive those answers, your private conversation, task feedback or reflections. You can inspect, edit or clear saved answers in Table or You. Clearing answers leaves earlier messages and task history in your record.
You can change an unsuitable task before reporting it. Both tasks stay in your private record. Reviews count your reports and days off separately. Missing records are not reported failures. Reflections are your own words, optional, and can be edited or cleared. These records do not measure your character or change how rank is earned.
No other man ever sees where you looked, on any surface. Not your table, not the man who vouched for you, not the man holding the table this week.
Two services outside the order read text, and the three clauses above bind both of them. The first one writes: when Katib says something in his own words instead of the order’s standard wording, a few lines go out and a sentence comes back. For a daily task, those lines can include your saved answers and recent tasks and reports. For a private question, they can also include recent messages from your conversation.
The second one writes nothing at all. It is called TypeSafe. It is sent one line and a short list of answers we wrote, and all it can do is pick one of them — yes or no, or one of these. It is used for small readings the order would otherwise get wrong: for example, whether a message from one table to another is fit to deliver. It cannot write a sentence, it cannot act, and nothing it picks is ever shown to you or to any man as a number or a mark against anyone. It was added on 17 September 2026.
Neither one is sold anything, and neither is sent a roster, another man’s record, or anything about your evening that the question does not need.
Visits to divisionalpha.net are counted by Minilytics, open-source software we run on our own Cloudflare account. No analytics company receives them. It keeps a random visitor number in a cookie, the page and the link that brought you, and links a membership payment to those visits so we know which post or page brought you. The public privacy notice lists every service and cookie.
Leaving is not a failure. You keep your days and your rank. Your record stays sealed and stays yours, until you ask us to erase it.
