One task a day. A report at night. Seven free days with Katib, then the daily practice continues at a table of five or seven men.
The Code comes from the Islamic tradition. Men of every faith may enter.
Make an account and read the Code. Tell Katib about your day, or skip the optional answers. Your seven days begin when you get your first task.
Do one task from the Code. Report Done or Missed at night. Four days done or taken off meet the weekly goal. Your conversation with Katib stays private.
Read your seven-day record. Choose membership if you want to continue. When the Order assigns a table, its call time appears in your Table tab.
An example, not a member’s record.
At a table of five or seven, the daily practice continues. Give your word, return for the call, and report how it went. Ask for useful help. Offer help you can give.
An example conversation.
“Can someone read my estimate before I send it?”
“Send it to me. I can read it before noon.”
Keep corrections private. Respect each man. Serve without asking for attention.
Nothing before Allah and His Messenger.
Keep your word.
No complaining.
Brother before self.
Cover his faults. Correct him in private.
Give more than you take.
Serve. Don't show off.
Muslim men sign all seven lines. Other men sign lines 2 to 7.
Katib gives you a task from the Code each day. You can use it as your word at the table, or give your own word. At the call, report how it went, ask for help and offer help you can give.
The task goal is four days in seven, including days off. At a table, the call attendance floor is four calls in seven, including days off. These are separate records. You receive three days off each month; unused days carry over.
Seven days with Katib are free. After that, a seat is $40 a month or $400 a year as the standard. Pay what you can. Payment buys a seat, never rank.
A table may not be ready when you pay. Keep practising privately with Katib while the Order arranges a table. There is no promised waiting time. Your call time appears in the Table tab once a table is assigned.
You can pause or cancel membership. Your record stays yours.
Make your account. Read and sign the Code. Then get your first task. No payment is taken here.
